Instead of the gold, might I suggest a gunmetal color? Or raw titanium?
Reason I suggest this is because I’ve thought about doing the same gold color on my darker silver cars and it just doesn’t seem right to me. The gunmetal, titanium, or black seem to be a better fit.

Oh, gotcha. Yeah that’s not a bad deal at all. You can always dip them. I’ve been doing my wheels for the past three or four years. Works great. But the gold will work. For sure. That’s a good deal, assuming the tread is good.

Anyway, I am planning on wrapping the car at some point either in a monte carlo blue or metallic green

Oooh nice, that’ll be a great combo. The dip will keep the wheels nice and clean though, and offer a little protection, but if you end up wrapping, no need for all that.
