Kinja'd!!!

They’re Altec 893a Coronas, and I have no idea if they work. But, real wood cabinets that I should be able to get looking like new again if I’m so inclined.

Kinja'd!!!

Time to try and get the grilles off and see what sort of shape they’re in.

Ah man I have a pair of KLH model 30's in similar condition. Hope I can get to them this year. Great cabs but need some attention.

Could be a great score. Unless they saw water or something that would short them out, the internal should be fine.

Just hooked them up, they sound totally fine. They’re worn, but definitely worth saving. They’re also not better than either of my pairs of speakers, so I think they’re going to a friend who’s trying to put together a stereo for cheap

My Kef C60's were about to be taken the tip, had been left in my brothers new house by the previous owner. They looked a mess but I chucked them in my car and thought I’d give them a go. Cleaned them up when I got them home, they are almost mint and after hooking them up they sounded glorious.
