Installed the new “CAI” from CTS Turbo for my MK6 Golf R. I’m not gonna say it was easy because ah hell no it wasn’t and they don’t send instructions. The intake was common sense but the heat shield was a pain.
Also replaced the cam follower today for the first time during my ownership and probably for the life of the car, bought it at 16k and now has 43k. It wasn’t too bad off. The last 10k of so have been with APR’s stage 1 flash.
Completed front brake pads and rotors from EBC with red stuff. Tears will hopefully happen Friday or this weekend.

cam follower needed replacing after 48k, and you figure that is the last one for the life of the car? How long do you expect your car to last?

Bad wording on my part. I replaced it and as far as I know it’s probably the o my time it’s ever been done. I’ll be checking it every 10k or so from now on.
