The car was two in front of me, apparently hit some debris and didn’t make the curve. Offroaded the BMW 328i coupe, then slammed into the drop off of a side road.
I stopped, encouraged the driver to turn off the motor because smoke was coming from the engine bay. Had the hood popped, looked like the radiator broke, with coolant all over the motor, and a trail behind. Encouraged the driver to get roadside assistance and a tow.
Kicker: it was just serviced at the dealer this morning.

Time to lawyer up because either the dealer will fix all of this for free, or they are getting sued.

Pfft.... I piloted my parent’s then brand new mazda 6 out from the giant mud pit that was the 2015 USGP park and ride lot. That said, I wouldn’t recommend it. A year and half later, I still find chunks of mud and dried grass in places on or under the car when I service it for them.

BMW should certainly warranty against driver error and debris. Then they would be worth the extra cost new.

I’m suspicious that it was a distracted driver not debris, but there was a bit of air dam lying around. Possibly from the bimmer.
