I just got to the airport for my flight out to LA today. Of course the moment I get here, I find out my flight has been delayed 3 hours. So my expected long 2 hour wait has now become 5 hours, and I’ll be arriving after midnight. This is why flying sucks lol..
But, at least I have a fun Turo rental to look forward to this weekend!
Courtesy of my girlfriend for my birthday, we are renting a nice manual 370z for the weekend. Little bit ricey with the tints and two tone stuff, but maybe I’ll like it better in person. Questionable aftermarket radio and subwoofer in the trunk definitely makes me think rice, but either way it should be fun. Anybody else drive the 370z before?
Anyways, good thing I’ve got a long book to read!

This is why I fly Virgin rather than United, even though it’s usually a few dollars less on United.

I actually have rarely been delayed here, unless I fly United then it’s always delayed. I generally prefer Philadelphia but it’s just dependent on the flight time/price.

I’m out there for work all the time, and sadly United is the only direct flight available (and others end up longer than it would take to drive).

I fly frequently out of EWR on United. Never had too big an issue. Can’t beat the schedule they have.

Yeah, United isn’t that terrible. It just depends if you get a new or old plane. The new planes are nice. They generally have more delays than anybody else and the customer service leaves something to be desired. I wasn’t particularly surprised it was United that started a Fight Club.

I’ve done that. It’s not fun. But it isn’t that terrible at the right times. It’s just far as hell. Newark is reliably an hour or less from home. Jfk is anywhere from 90 minutes to 3 hours or more. Cheap as hell flights out of there sometimes though.

Haha thanks! At least Virgin is good about it and started handing out food vouchers. Time to go hog wild with my $10 at the Ruby Tuesday!
