Kinja'd!!!

When you’re driving and see someone else driving while holding and talking on their cellphone to their ear... especially where I live cause it’s illegal... and they’re driving a new/newish BMW/Audi/Mercedes/etc. that definitely has integrated handsfree Bluetooth.

What annoys the hell out of me is people who hold the phone up to their mouth. What’s the point? Why not just hold it up to your ear if you’re going to do that?

Because more then half of these idiots don’t even realize they can do that. They buy the badge and as long as it has power door locks, mirrors and windows they rarely go outside of that. Its amazing and totally in agreement.

Ah. The speakerphone driver. Those are the people that have loud conversations in public on speaker phone and then get mad at you for hearing them

That always strikes me to. My gfs cheap arse Peugeot 107 has a usable bluetooth set up, so drivers of anything decent spec and recent have no excuse.

My car has integrated Bluetooth but it sucks. I don’t talk on the phone while driving that often though - if I do it’s just my mom and I’m not actually paying any attention to her.

My newish BMW doesn’t have integrated bluetooth, but I also don’t talk on the phone while I drive. If something urgent comes up I pull over. Nothing is worth risking my life and everyone else’s.

Thank You. I have still had an officer attempt to give me a cell phone ticket once. He saw my screen light up (cup holder) and I pulled right over because my grandmother is in poor health and I thought it might be my dad calling. I signaled, stopped, put my car in neutral, and set the E-brake. Then I picked up my phone just to see his lights.

After the usual spiel I explained to him my actions and why it was seemingly urgent. He said good day and went on his way.

I guess I should specify it may not be entirely the car’s fault - I have an old 5S and it can be far from dependable some days.

I understand how that would be annoying to see, but my car will only pair one phone at a time, and sometimes I need to speak on my work phone, which I don’t typically pair - my default in my personal car is my personal phone.

I would like to be able to pair two phones simultaneously in a vehicle.

And (not that it relates to your example) if I’m in a fleet vehicle from my company, I don’t bother pairing the phone, either, but occasionally get a call that I feel is important to take.

Rejoice! This is Nature’s way of sending you advance warning so you can protect yourself. This is a mark of someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing and should be given an extra wide distance.

My car has bluetooth but the fuck I can’t figure out how to sync it. I usually go to the dealer to sync to our phones.

Yes and I follow the instructions exactly and it still doesn’t work. The dealer told me the instructions are wrong and I can’t ever remember how to pair it with my phone the same way they do.

Then there’s the folks who do this and don’t even seem to have speaker phone even on, which pretty much means they are just talking AT someone, who I wonder if might be doing the same thing on the other end haha
