What is the problem then?
Regarding the hardtop - well, I know a guy who is into historic rallies and was pretty happy he had found a hardtop for his MGB. He changed the rubbers, seals, the lot... but it turns out it let in even more water than the soft top.
Hopefully the 124 one would be better in that respect.

I’m thinking of making one for mine, if I keep it through the year.... do it right with a mold and vacuum bagging so I could do a production run and make some side cash. Curious if there’s something out there already...

Yah, I think there are enough old Fiats with bad soft tops that there may be a market for a run of 10... the soft top on my 77 is in surprisingly good shape... but still 40yo...
