I’m going to assume that part of the reason this car is so expensive is due to the celebrity association.
This car is not worth anything near 40 grand.

Maybe so. I’m not quite the level of gearhead that I could itemize the cost of parts that went into it, but I can’t imagine it’s astronomically higher. Is easily a 30K build.

You’re right, the parts likely total around 30k. But you almost never get back the value of what you put into something.
You get back significantly less when you’re talking race cars because of the inherent additional wear and tear.

Yeah good point. I do think its notoriety is helping its purchase price.
If I had that kind of money, I’d buy it and make it more streetable.
