Where did you take this, I think I’ve seen this before, or one very similar. Any info on the engine? Is it a GMC “Big Block” V12?

I didn’t, it was on my tumblr. I would say DOTS if I did. But yeah it has to be a big ass commercial motor.

Gotcha.

If it’s the same one I’ve seen (its probably been 10 years), its got a GMC V12 which was created by attaching two old “Big Block” V6's together. The engine wasn’t commercial, but it was used in special missile haulers for the military back in the 50s or 60s. The guy used a Cadillac El Dorado transmission to get power to the ground.

GM TH425 with the dif removed... They used them in the first front drive Tornadoes and Eldorados.. It’s pretty much a TH400 (same guts) with a chain drive..

V12 single block 702 CID.

14-15 mpg running 70mph

That’s it. If you look close in that first picture, I believe that’s a Maryland plate.
