I’ve been on planes where I wished I was on something other than a plane. I’ve been on trains where I wished I was on something other than a train. I’ve been in cars where I wished I was in something other than a car. Walking and bicycles suck too.

BUT

I’ve been on at least three funiculars (Hong Kong, Montserrat, and Barcelona) and I’ve NEVER wished I was riding on something other than a funicular.

Let’s replace all forms of transportation with funiculars. I guarantee you that we’d have world peace if we switched solely to funiculars.
