It’s crazy because I didn’t see many for about 10 years, but suddenly I’m seeing them about once a week in my area. One guy even has an old 2-door model. But most of them are Stepford Wives, who seem to have taken over from Rappers’ Girlfriends in the demographic for this thing.

I’ll happily hate the demographic for these, but I refuse to hate them. They’re so old fashioned and utilitarian looking. I’d rather have obnoxiously expensive cars that look like that than cheap shitboxes that try to look refined by looking like every other sleek shitbox.

There’s no reason to go to any of the Noodles locations in downtown or west Madison, because all of them are near some other, better option.
I work in Middleton where there’s a Taigu, a local mom-n-pop Chinese place with proper legit hand pulled noodles , so no reason to go to the Noodles in Greenway Station.
No reason to go to the Noodles on University when you could go to DumplingHaus instead.
No reason to go to the Noodles on Mineral Point when you could go to ZenZen Taste or Saigon Noodle.
No reason to go to the Noodles on State unless you’re right on State and otherwise should go to Wah Kee Wonton Noodle, Nam’s Noodle, Double 10 Mini Hot Pot, Chili King, Orient House, or Ichiban Sichuan.
I suppose there’s not a ton of competition by the Monona Noodles but then again China Star is halfway decent.
There’s definitely not much around the East Towne Noodles or Sun Prairie Noddles but East Towne sucks and Sun Prairie is nice in that modern, real estate boom kinda way, but still white bread as fuck, even if Salvatore’s Tomato Pies is the bomb.
