This is a 1972 Bentley T2. Looks like a pretty good match to me—

That is either an S3 or a T1 bentley. Possibly an HJ Mulliner bodystyle. The rear lights are a bit off but it checks out otherwise.

That was my first thought, but the front was decidedly not Bentley. The front didn’t have that big, beating physics through shear money and engine approach to aerodynamics that Bentleys have.

Actually should be a T1, not T2, and who knows what model year you saw—doubt they changed much over the 12 years they made them. I saw one of these on the highway yesterday going the opposite way (or an RR, I was doing 75 the opposite direction), and they really don’t look that big to me, either.
