I’m having less of a “day” and more of a “long drawn out morning” which I suspect will be continuing until after five. While my brain remains asleep in bed.

The lady at the gas station made my tacos wrong. This is why I always try to wait for when the guy is free because he never makes them wrong. But they were super busy and I was in a rush, so when it was my turn and the lady was the one who was free, I just gave her my order. Lesson learned. Wait for the dude.
It’s a Monday. That’s always “a day,” it seems. The weekends are never long enough.

Same story at Dunkin Donuts every morning. There are like two people who work the drive-thru that I trust to make my coffee correctly. The other three or so workers put different variations of “holy hell this is diabetes in a cup” to “it doesn’t look like black coffee, but rest assured, it tastes like black coffee.”

Coffee is just one of those things where it’s essential to get it right.
And considering that, it’s always pleasantly surprising that one of the best “quick” places to get a consistently good cup of coffee is....
McDonald’s. Like, even if they’re slammed, they always make it just the way you want it. It’s a small miracle I’m always sure to abundantly thank the drive-thru gods for. ^_^

I changed the air filter in the Accent from the stock Hyundai one to a drop-in FRAM paper filter. The old one wasn’t all that bad looking to me, actually....considering it’s been in there since 2013.
As for the rest of the day? Not great. Living at home at 30 until you find a full-time job can be a giant P.I.T.A. Mom and I got into an argument yesterday over something I said.
Long story short, and you’re all free to laugh at how stupid this is....my brother also lives at home (same situation as me) and has been super stressed out at his first job lately (he, like myself, works three jobs).
Mom wanted us to go to church for the Easter Service yesterday and my brother also worked his second job from 2-10pm yesterday. I mentioned bro wouldn’t have much prep time if she got him to go to church (as he would lose an hour and a half of prep time for his first job the next day before he had to go to his second job until 10-11pm by the time he got home). She completely blew this WAY out of proportion and somehow took it as an attack on her religion (I’m not terribly religious, though I’ve never told her that outright -I go to church with her for special occasions though out of respect) and that I didn’t want to go to church, despite the fact that I had said NOTHING about me and everything about trying to help my brother calm down by getting more prep time.
I got angry and defensive as I was confused just how in the hell she could take that one sentence I had said about bro not going to church due to prep time and work as an attack on her religion and about ME not wanting to go despite it in neither way being an attack on her religion or in any way referencing me whatsoever............Now she’s barely talking to me a day later and giving me the cold shoulder with EVERYTHING...so yeah. Joyful day.
Told you all it was stupid. Sorry for the rant, I needed to vent.
