But do you focus on the 1o gallons or the $22.99 price?

Im not usually too anal about this, I just fill it till its full at whatever dollar amount it ends up at without looking at the pump. (Eg $34.72) A few days ago I hung up the pump and the display read $40.01. I felt humiliated for going over that one cent, even though I wasn’t trying to be precise about it.

Yes, I always go for the clean dollar amount rather than gallon amount. If I end up going over, then I go up to the next multiple of 10 cents.

I’ve been doing it by the gallon. For some reason I started with the Audi. I could get 1 week of commuting with 10 gallons of gas. Now I can get about 2 weeks on 10 gallons.

I’ve always gone for the even dollar. If I were more of a person to track fuel consumption, then I probably would’ve gone for the even gallons.

Fun complusive fact: when I eat Skittles I have to eat them 4 at a time, 2 of one color and 2 others. Example, 2 Green, 1 Red, 1 Yellow. 1 Red and 1 Green on one side of my mouth, 1 Yellow and 1 Green on the other. Same with the Chex in Chex Mix, or anything like that.

Always by the dollar amount.
