I just ordered a new one. I had an old apex 34 back in the day, but that has since gone missing. Since I have nothing but good things to say about Original, I ordered a new Apex 37 Diamond Drop, along with a set of their spring loaded trucks, because holy crap I love the way they feel. Also ordered some Oragatang Skiff wheels (in purple of course) and Bones Super Reds bearings. Normally I’d go ceramic with Bones Swiss, but I’m sure I have a set floating around somewhere, and when it comes time to build, I’ll just swap them out.

I have a Sector 9 Sunset that I keep in my car just in case I find myself in a good place at a good time for a bit of longboarding. Those times are very rare, unfortunately. Nothing overly special in the truck and wheel department. Paris trucks and whatever wheels and bearings came in the kit with the trucks. Also it was my first (and still only) longboard so I got a dropthrough board for the stability. Looks like a fish, goes like a fish, steers like a cow.

I have a Land Yatchz 42" pintail, with foam grip tape. I like it but if I had to buy another I’d get something shorter with a kick tail. It’s a great board for cruising but I do more in town riding which it’s not ideal for
