“You’re four now Emma, it’s time for you to start pulling your weight around here.”
My buddy and I have been working on the old pop-up we bought in my garage. Of course she wanted to come out and “help.” I set up my little step ladder for her, gave her a big screwdriver, and she spent a solid hour climbing up and down the ladder “fixing” things.
My friend was stunned. His soon to be exwife is insanely over protective of their 2-1/2 year old. The kid isn’t allowed near stairs by himself, or within like 38' of a kitchen knife. My friend was also shocked that the little one didn’t cry after falling on her butt.
