We all like to think we are great drivers, but we all skip out on some things that we rather not admit.
Heres mine:
- I rely on my back up camera more then I should, I use it 95% of the time backing up.
- I don’t signal when entering round abouts.
- If someone is going slow in the passing lane, I will high-beam them over & over again (following at a safe distance).
- If I’m a twisty road, and car is going really slow I’ll down shift 2 gears & stay in that gear until they pull over. I don’t bother with dump trucks (or utility trucks) as they don’t have an option to go faster. Most of the time they pull over with when safe & let me pass.

I almost always go wot when changing lanes, including getting off the highway
It’s so I don’t have to look over my shoulder as much. I can pick a spot in front of me, and go for it.

I go WOT too much. Also if I see someone’s all over the place (and texting), I’ll catch up next to them and glare at them/shout at them (if their windows are down)

3. people who text and drive, drives me insane because they just refuse to go causing a backlog behind them.

I’ve been driving in the winter long enough that I’ve quit caring if I kick the back end out while accelerating from a stop sign or around a corner.
If someone pulls out ahead of me and doesn’t accelerate quickly enough I’ll get far closer to their bumper than they care to before pulling out at passing, which I’ll likely do much more closely than they care for as well.
I go around corners more quickly than most people would.
I drive waaaay too quickly on gravel and snow. See above about corners as well.
I don’t always signal when changing lanes on the highway.
I accelerate very quickly from green lights as soon as the light changes.
I can get very distracted by things beside the road.

1. I brake too hard. :( I’m trying to teach myself not to do this. I prematurely warped the front rotors on my 6.
2. I rely too much on the blind spot monitors on my car. Sometimes, I forget to check the actual blind spot. I just rely on the sensors. Bad bad bad.
3. I swerve for animals. Also bad bad bad. I have a soft heart for animals in general and hate to hit them. So I swerve. Which is dangerous.

I know one of mine is not using turn signals in parking lots and doing West Texas stops at stop signs, sometimes.

If somebody cuts me off, I’ll tailgate them within a few inches.
I don’t use my turn signal if nobody is around/somebody is being a dickhead.

1. If someone cuts me off and I get a chance to pass, I do. And I shift so that the car makes tons of big bangs.
2. I accelerate away from lights quickly, which I don’t really find dickish, because I hate when get behind somebody who takes their time at a light.
3. I will merge around cars if they are slowly merging onto the interstste. I’ve been stuck in a lane for miles because I didn’t make that move.

Ditto, and to the mergers out there, remember it’s easier to slow down at the last minute rather than try to pickup speed if you need it.
