OK...so I guess I should prototype Suzuki (with Tajima-san) to bring the fight to Subaru? Or revive Lancia? I mean Subaru can’t just...basically my ideal scenario is akin to LMP1 before 2014 where the class still lives despite having just two makes in the top-flight class.
Ford is there, and the Focus RS programme is the worthiest challenge Subaru can ask for, and Citroen’s there with their Fantastic Silver Surfing Superman of a rally driver, but that’s 1.6, and I am more excited to see an interplay between the “big” cars and the “small” cars.

Wait, what? Are you talking about current WRC or pre-2011 WRC? Because currently Subaru doesn’t compete, Ford is there but using the Fiesta not the Focus RS, and if by “Silver Surfing Superman” you mean Loeb, he retired years ago. Also at no point in the past 15 years has the 2.0 and the 1.6 been used at the same time.
