As a Leafs fan, if I were you I’d jump on the Preds bandwagon. The Leafs wagon will be extremely exciting but they are still playing the Caps... Preds are a better bet

I’ve been rooting for the Hawks for 30+ years. This is brutal (so far - its not over yet) but if they lose, I have zero complaints.

Wahoo Caps! But seriously, that was one hell of a series. The Leafs are going to be tough going forward. Over 40% of the playoff games this year have been overtime so far. This series was just insane. Hopefully it gives the caps momentum to finally knock out the Pens.

I’m just wondering... and I’m not making excuses for anyone here, we did better than I expected and it’s the first year of a rebuild after all:
We know how much of a razor-edge momentum is in hockey, in that a fight or a big hit or even the fans can sway a game. If Babcock hadn’t been asked about Wilson’s line before the series, and replied he had bigger things to worry about on the Caps team than Wilson’s line, what’s the outcome? Nobody expected him to pick the Caps up like he did.

You bring up a good point with that, and that’s why I like hockey so much. I only really started getting into it about 2 years ago. Such an exciting sport to watch, and the atmosphere is always great.
Is it worth going to a caps penguins game if the worst seats (nosebleeds) are at least $100? I went to game 3 last year and the caps managed to win, and it was awesome.

I could go on saturday, but miss my moms birthday dinner, which may not be the best idea haha. If tickets drop for Thursday’s game I think I’ll buy the cheapest ones I can find. Another good thing about hockey, even the bad seats aren’t THAT bad. It’s not like a skins game or wizards game where you can barely see anything.

It was - so much overtime! There’s nothing like OT playoff hockey. Last night was disappointing - for a whole bunch of reasons, the Leafs are my 2nd favorite team, and thanks to Down Goes Brown, I think I know almost as much of their history as the Hawks. Speaking of playoff losses, I read something about the Habs this morning - that after the loss, a local sports radio show was being inundated with callers wanting them to trade Price away. SMH.

Funny you mention that, I actually used to play lacrosse throughout my youth and high school. It’s originally what got me interested in hockey. They really are similar, and college lacrosse is very fast paced and fun to watch.

I’ve found it hard to get into pro lacrosse, simply because it isn’t on TV often. College lacrosse on the other hand is usually on espn or espnU.
