I’ve always liked Audi’s, so I was pretty stoked that I was given the chance byfellow automotive YouTuber DFWs Cars to let me drive this. And boy, even the “stock” 2017 A4 quattro doesn’t mess around. The dual clutch shifts super quick, revs are way down low at highway speeds and it just is a nice place to be in.

What do you think?

A couple months ago, when I still had my Audi, I got one of these as a loaner and I hated it (they were supposed to always give me another A8 as a loaner but didn’t have any that one time but that wasn’t what bothered me). Maybe I should write up my own review/hater’s guide.

Really? That is interesting. I think it’s pretty good! But, I bet if I stepped in one coming from the A8 flagship I might feel the same.

I recently ended up with a 2017 A4 Quattro for a rental. I’d never driven anything German beyond our company Jetta and the closest “luxury” comparison I had was a Q50 loaner I drove for a day. The Audi was definitely an eye opener for me. I don’t think it’s something I would prefer for daily use but I certainly see why they appeal to others now.

I could totally see myself in one, it’s a very nice place to be and highway revs are nice and low, just where I like them!

That’s how I felt when I drove an a manual Allroad. It was even better than I could have imagined. Glad I didn’t buy it though.

I’m not really a luxury comfortable car sort of person. The stiffer and less comfortable the ride, the less likely I am to get carsick :) But I definitely see why others enjoy them!

My s4 was in the shop and had an A4 for the day to go up to the mountains. Hated it. Comfy, yes. Sporty, no. The 4 banger being revved out sounds horrible.

what specifically did ya hate? It’s clearly not geared/tuned the same way an A8 is.

Nice man, dunno how I missed this. Sorry ya didn’t get a chance to check out the P orsche- but if you ever wanna do the Model 3 (think you already did one) you’re daintily welcome. Not the most interesting car, but I know when F orest reviewed mine he has like 30k+ views, so videos on Tesla do pretty  well.
