So after waiting a week for my appointment to get a new keyless entry fob, they still can’t help me because they are backordered on fobs.
Apparently my issue isn’t too uncommon because chevy made a whole bad batch of fobs and are low on supply because everyone is replacing them. I’m just going to carry both fobs at this point. Have a rally wrx for your time.

My base trim Accent has this weird fob with a metal silver line that sticks out one end with a weird pattern on the edges of it. The range is terrible though....I have to practically have it inside the door and wiggle it around a certain way before the signal is strong enough for the door to unlock.
Oddly, it only ever seems to work on whatever door I am closest to...

This can also cause problems with English Channel ferry service. There’s either too many or not enough Franks off the boat.
