But the shipping charge is way CP. (Shopping for a steering wheel is much easier than actually working on the truck.)

Why not a stock wheel, or have the original restored?
I want to have the white wheel in my fintail restored, but it is tough finding a place to do it - not a Pandora’s Box I want to open.

I’d just get a Grant wheel.

You’re better off getting one from a pick n pull. These steering wheels are better looking than grant wheels. Most of them are tacky. Search up s10 blazer wheels, they are the same style as the one you posted.

My 71 Camaro has a similar wheel. I’ve been looking at the 4-spoke wheels that the performance models had but they are stupid expensive from the repro companies and the used ones I’ve seen are in pretty rough condition.

There will be quite a bit not stock about this van when I am finished, though it will keep its straight-six engine and manual transmission.

It has to be a GM wheel. The SS steering wheels from that era are nice as well. The stock wheel is too large for my liking and I will be modifiying the van to have power steering.

The mid-seventies SS wheel was what I initially had in mind, and may still use. It has to be a GM wheel, though.
