I really only wanted a small drill, but the set with the impact driver was the same price as just a drill with two batteries.
Also, as an aside, I can think of all the reasons in the world why I’d never want to tighten automotive bolts with an impact driver and a socket adapter, but is there any reason not to use one to remove them? Because that seems super appealing.

Well, it’s not big enough to do any really big bolts that need impacting off, and for really small stuff with screwdriver heads I would normally prefer using a hand impact and a hammer. That being said, for interiors and other stuff dealing with only mildly fouled fasteners for #6 through 3/16 it could be the bee’s knees.

Excellent choice. I have them both, as well as the right angle drill, and tiny reciprocating saw. Great powerful little tools.
The impact driver packs a pretty decent punch. It won’t handle big or rusted bolts though.
