I found this absolute disaster living in the Mustang’s engine bay. Hopefully this weekend I can poke and prod at it enough to figure out why there are 3 feet of bundled up extra cable spliced into the headlight wiring harness.

If you’re talking about the yellow, it looks like either half of a pair of light-gauge jumper cables or a section of fusible link. Either of which raises sooo many questions.

Make sure you check it often you don’t want the poor thing to starve slowly, or start rotting in you engine bay.
