For me it’s a Mini Cabrio S JCW.

There is something so wrong about it, yet so right about it.

the PT Cruiser GT. It’s a Neon SRT4 wagon (or convertible), but also a colossal piece of shit

I also like the C230 coupe more than I should, even though it’s also a POS with poor reliability preventing it from becoming like a new German 240SX in popularity

its the least economical vehicle possible, least functional for its size, but I want people to get out of my way because they think the government is about to run them over. and i’d love to tackle some crazy trails.

In terms of what Oppo finds acceptable, half of my cars are guilty pleasure cars.

In terms of cars I shouldn’t like due to my tastes and personality but for some reason still do? That’s be the Dodge Ram 2500 V10.

I used to bitch about crossovers, but it was childish more than anything else. Now that there are smaller ones that are essentially lifted hot hatches, I’d love to have a Porsche Macan, regardless of the engine size (although hotter would be better, obviously).

If there was such a thing as a Mazdaspeed CX-3 or Kia Trackster I’d probably have one of those since I can’t afford a Porsche.

I love my Saturn Sky Redline. I should be in a Camaro SS convertible or a Corvette, but I can’t seem to part with my Sky.

FWD Midsize sedans like my old G6.

It goes against all my established principles for car selection, but I guess most of my childhood are in several.

Maybe I should put the Regal and A5 Sportback on my next car shortlist.

Daihatsu Mira Cocoa. It’s a car that’s primarily marketed to females, not males. Yet, it’s got that retro vibe that I can’t ignore. Plus, it’s a kei car.

Second would have to be the CL203 SportCoupé.

Why in the world would that be a guilty pleasure?! I autocrossed one once, only difference from cover image was the color. It was amazing.

I had a similar conversation with a buddy about a loaner ‘17 Cayenne I had last week. As I was driving, we were exploring the features and discussing how it’s “actually not that bad” and that it’s just on the right side of soccer mombile that we’d be willing to drive it ourselves. Then we laughed at ourselves for “admitting” that we’d be willing to drive an $80,000 SUV...

But have you driven the fast x5 or a cayenne turbo fast through corners? Its actually really fun, and not nearly as scary as it used to be in an SUV that size. The price is the only factor that makes it laughable to me but if a cheaper option would be extremely appealing to me. Some thing like if the explorer were on a RWD but still unibody and fully independent suspension platform. That with a 3.5 ecoboost would be the same thing as those SUVs at 2/3 the cost. I guess thats kinda what the performance grand cherokees are, but FCA products are a no from me.
