Hahaha I didn’t notice the part about the Rabbit(Golf...making myself look too American here) in the title so I sitting there thinking “Yeah, I guess the GT3 owner might be surprised about being slower than a 370Z but it’s not really a sleeper.. And look, the GT3 is even faster!” and then the Golf went flying by

I like how even after the nissan starts running out of power at around the 220 Kmh mark, the Porsche is still going and that golf catches up fast.

My brother in law wants to build a Rabit Caddy with a Passat 4motion driveline and 1.9l ALH TDI engine, and later TDI 6 speed trans. He already has a junk Passat for the driveline, and extensive knowledge of the TDI engine. His DD is a 02 Jetta TDI With about 180hp and 300lb/ft at the wheels. It would be an little truck thing.

My dream has always been an old S10 with an iron duke in the front and a nasty big block in the back under a camper shell, both with V drives so I can drive around with a four cylinder that sounds normal and tame driving the front wheels and suckering people in, then fire up the big motor and pull wheelies.
That, and P85D swap my Corvair.

while that z car has some sound to it, and you know that you are moving when you have your foot in it. That porsche, feels like meh, not really anything dramatic going on, BUT a sleeper, like that rabbit, and you get anywhere up around those speeds, and it feels like you are going a million miles an hour........
