She’s adorable!
One of my aunts had a yellow lab named “Wonnie” with, apropriately enough, one eye. She was one of the sweetest dogs I’d ever met. When at my grandparents house with the whole extended family, she’d follow the younger kids around the yard/woods, almost acting as a surrogate mom/babysitter.

I’m assuming she’s a rescue? Rescue cats are the best. I found this guy hanging out behind my apartment a few years ago. My neighbors cats were indoor/outdoor, and he’d been sneaking some of their food when they weren’t looking. I started putting a plate out for him (he’d be on the back porch first thing in the morning looking for food when I was out for a coffee, and it was breaking my heart). He was gone for a few days, then one Saturday morning in the middle of 5 days of straight rain, he was back, looking pathetic as ever, and soaked to the bone. I couldn’t stand it anymore, so he became my indoor cat that day. Monday morning rolled around, I was getting ready to leave for work, and he hopped on my back and curled up while I was bent over to tie my shoes. Always waiting at the door for me, always in my lap, on my mousepad, or in front of the keyboard if he didn’t feel I was giving him enough attention, and if I was laying down, he wanted his head tucked right up under my chin:

Sometimes I think I should get Enzo a brother or sister, but I wonder if he’d take to another cat. And we have such good routines already that I just don’t know. Did you get all your fur babies all together, or one at a time?
