I work from home 2/5 or 3/5 days, depending on which week it is :)

Replace the cig with something healthy, and I concur.
I’m doing the same today because I’ve been sick. Our office has a “don’t come in with a sore throat” policy.

Me to. I spent my lunch break taking my rear hatch apart in my driveway.

My rear hatch is also rattling, I found the culprit quite easily, a broken bracket thing. Probably going to use use padded 3M double sided tape.

It’s been 3 or 4 years since I’ve had a full cigarette. I miss them very much. But at the same time I can’t quite give in to the urge to buy a pack. I’ve tried vaping to satisfy the urge but it just makes me want them more.

No way could I get much done from home. Sure if I just have to do training or work on a long assignment, id prefer to be at home. But day to day it would just be too relaxing and id just eat food all day haha.

I see what you mean and I think you should keep going at it. I know cigarettes are bad, but at this point in life I don’t have the emotional stability to quit, I use them to unwind and to help with anxiety. Same as a shy/stressed person would do with a glass or wine or two.

Ya thats how I used them too, although I would chain smoke if I was driving on the highway, something about smoking on a long drive. Only reason I stopped was because I had my tonsils removed at 23 or 22 I honestly don’t know. But they told me that the older you are the more painful the recovery is and that if I quit smoking 2wks prior to surgery then the recovery would be much faster. So I suffered through the withdrawals, and well after your tonsils are cauterized out you don’t even want to swallow let alone smoke anything. By the time my throat felt normal I was like 6wks into being cigarette free so I figured it’d be a waste to start again.

Good for you that you kept on! I broke my hip 4 years ago and they told me that circulation is very important for it to re-attach, otherwise I would need an artificial one. So I instantly quit.
Six months later the x-rays looked fine, the bone had grown back, and I thought I could just maybe have one once in a while.....
You know the rest of that story.
