That’s a W112 300SE made as a tribute to the competition cars from 1963-64. The pic above on the dusty dirt road is a similar car as it existed at the time. They won dozens of events.

They had a huge successful competition history from 1960-65, including the pioneering women rallyists of Rosqvist and Wirth:
IIRC, fintails finished 1-2-3 in their class at Monte Carlo in 1960.

I’m thinking about checking out my old FSAE teams shop today. I was on the team for two years but left because of my mental health issues (depression and anxiety) which are much better controlled so I want to check it out but feel bad about it because I left suddenly and without much explanation. I’m trying to get over it and just go and could use some motivation. I have my dslr with me so I could take pics of the cars and shop while I’m in there.
