Nope. Never driven an Indycar either. F1 drivers have historically done pretty well in Indycar. I’m sure he is going to have it figured out very quickly and Andretti is probably the favorites for this years 500 and is also home to some of the best oval racers in Indycar (Michael is an oval legend and Marco has always been fast at Indy) so he will have plenty of resources to learn from.
I see his month as being slower in practice, qualifying well, fading towards the back before coming back towards the front in the second half. Solid top 15 performance, top 10 if his cards fall right.

Nope! Luckily he’s got the rookie day and test period to get ready. Wouldn’t surprise me if a private test at another oval was done before hand and for seat fitting.

Of course the last guy that came over from F1 happened to win the Indy 500 last year in his first attempt (and only second time on an oval of any type). While it is not going to happen, it would be cool to see Rossi take his seat for Monaco.
