total garbage alarm. power, ground, a flashing LED, and one internal “vibration” sensor.
i found it on amazon, an alarmingly high number of good reviews.

i had one similar to that on an old truck i had bought. it had a monster sized birdsnest of wires, switches, and relays. stupid thing tied into just about all the electrics under the dash. didnt work either. was extremely gratifying to get rid of that mess.

Did your insurance give you a discount for having the alarm? I’d assume not, since aftermarket alarms are basically useless, but wouldn’t want to give them an excuse to deny payout if the car is stolen.
