At least to me anyway...wish it wasn’t massively overpriced though, it’s LHD so would make an interesting imported DD around these parts as there are probably none or few in all of Canada and it’s only based on Punto mechanicals, so wouldn’t be too hard to find parts for!

Eh, Y’s are better in some subdued colors that help mitigate their, erm, exciting lines.
Saffron Volvo’s, on the other hand, are da bomb.

Don’t think we ever got that color for the Volvos in North America....at least here in Canada as I don’t recall seeing one! Very cool!
As for the Ypsilon....I am a fan of quirky styling, so I quite like ‘em! The later Ypsilons though....eh.

Would be an interesting DD over here in Canada....parts wouldn’t be easy as they were never sold here, but Puntos are plentiful in Europe, so sourcing parts couldn’t be THAT hard I would think?
I just sortof like them. I know it’s weird for Europpos to wrap their heads around as the Ypsilon and Punto are just ‘normal’ cars to them, but styling tends to be a it more bland over here in North America, and this would be a neat ride to putter around in for the daily grind here :)

First-gen Lancia Y / Ypsilon (1995-2003)! Only sold in Europe, so we, of course never got them over here in North America.

They were based on the FIAT Punto, so essentially a Punto with far more ‘Lancia’-looking bodywork and interior! :P Puntos were fairly reliable...not amazing, but not bad, so an Ypsilon would make a unique DD over here!
