It’s super cool, but I could never own it. First, the price, second, rare cars are useless to me. A car is meant to be driven, and I’m sure my house would be set on fire if I added a few hundred thousand kilometres to that.

Vintage I6 5 series wagons might be starting to get into a bubble like everything non-SUV from Zuffenhausen.
At the Europpomeet 4muddyfeet told me about an E39 530i Touring that was advertised at 26k pounds at a specialty dealer in London. DAFUQ? Lowish mileage and service history my ass, that’s insane.

Something that came out when I posted it on here: the California certification sticker says 3.6 liter motor when a euro-spec 1995 M5 has a 3.8 liter motor, which is mentioned in the listing.
(I didn’t want to point this out in the comments of the listing and cause headache but we’ve got enough degrees of separation here that I don’t mind saying it.)
