I wish I’d gotten a photo. Saw a Rav4 on a somewhat rough-ish back-o-the-woods service road this past weekend. It was parked in front of a house and I’d presume it belonged to the resident or owner.

My sister-in-law has General Grabber AT2 on her 2wd Escape thanks to my recommendation. Its surprisingly good in the snow now. Normally they would have to park at the bottom of the driveway of my FILs cabin in winter, but now they can drive up (its impressively steep).

And most of them aren’t mounted securely enough to discourage theft. I have seen zip-ties used, lol.
A coworker had his stolen right off his Crosstrek, mounting brackets and all.

I used to take my ‘76 Honda Accord out onto trails. I remember coming up on a river crossing. This guy in a F150 was unlocking his hubs having just crossed the opposite direction and warned me to turn around I’ll never make it, the water is deep. I had been on this trail enough to know I’d be ok, so I just pushed on through. Not even what I would call deep, although half of that is probably youthful ignorance and stupidity.
