I haven’t had an accident that was my fault in 20 years...until today...

Please tell me it’ll buff out.

Oh and no, that will not buff out. Pepper your angus.

I read on the internet that if you put dry ice on that, it’ll pop right out.

Everyone okay? Hope no airbags deployed.

Damn I’m just surprised the mirror is unscathed.

thats hail damage, that pops out with a heat gun and  dry ice. this needs a toilet plunger to pull them out.......

just means that you have an opportunity to upgrade that particular door to a more fun color, like red..........

its almost like playing bingo, who ever can recolor/rebody the entire car first wins........

there should be at least maroon, blue, and black, and white factory options to “upgrade” to

Ooh, how does that even happen?

I’m 25 years accident-free despite being 22 years old!

Jokes, well kind of, State Farm lets you move benefits from one driver to another in a family and my mom’s 25-years-accident free saves shit tons on a 22-year-old guy driving about 12,000 miles a year driving a 2nd-gen 4Runner (once a car’s that old it actually doesn’t make a difference what it is) but only a little on 55-year-old woman driving about 7500 miles a year in a Lexus RX because it’s already about as cheap as it can get for a vehicle that expensive.

It doesn’t even work with hail damage. It’s just an internet meme.

Toilet plunger, now that’s funny. :)

Yes! In my 8th year of driving, I had an accident “forgiven” because the policy was 18 years old and accident free.

That’s encouraging to hear! Honestly not wasting my mom’s 25 years accident free is another motivator to drive safely(adding on to obviously never wanting to have an accident in the first place no matter what the financial consequences and my understanding that my car really isn’t particularly safe, things have come a long way in the past quarter-century).

I was turning left across 3 lanes of opposing traffic, into my neighborhood of all places. The 2 closest lanes were at a dead stop, and people made a gap and waived me thru. The 3rd lane (furthest), becomes a right turning lane after my neighborhood. I looked and didn’t see anyone, but there was a guy going 50 mph in that lane. He was able to hit the brakes and scrub some speed. The impact was probably only 10mph. I just didn’t  expect anyone to be traveling that fast in that lane. Still... it was my fault

Yeah was just me luckily, so no airbags deployed. They may have, if someone was in the passenger seat.

Just a small knick on the right front wheel. It almost looks like a pothole gouge, so i wonder if they will try to say it’s not related.

it worked, one you could barely tell, the other, well it was better than what it started with. it was a while ago so the car is long gone.
