Except the wing. I hate that wing

Also, not a huge fan of those wheels on that particular car. Side thought: am I the only person that doesn’t really care for the 5.0 fender badge? It just looks out of place. I prefer the badgeless look of the ecoboost.

Speaking of Ecoboosts, this looks handsome. Nice dark red color and good looking wheels. Too bad it still has the ugly wing

Really, really anxious to see where pricing ends up on these. I don’t think I’d go get a new Ecoboost since I already have one, but upgrading to a GT with the digital dash and magnetic ride control is tempting. I’m sure it will cost too much though, so I’ll probably just continue waiting until I can afford a used GT350.

I think it looks like someone parked a 2015 too close to the barbecue, and its nose melted and slid down a bit.

Wingless would look mucho bettero. Wasn’t there a rumor of the Bullitt making a return? Surely it will look a lot cleaner, and therefore better.

Wing is meh but not terrible.

Wheels are good because mesh style wheels are always good.

I finally figured out what bugs me about the front: the small, slightly droopy headlights don’t quite flow with the sharp diagonal line that separates the main lower bumper opening from the ones below the turn signals, and those triangular openings below the turn signals are kinda big in relation to the headlights.

I think it looks decent - the nose is a little too sloped, I guess, but I thought the same of the current model. I *really* love the wheels on that EB, though...

I really don’t like any “standoff” type wings on a street car. Flush with the body is fine, an open loop like an STI or GT350R is OK, but something like the Camaro SS wing just looks cheap and tacked on to me.

My personal opinion: the GT350 will not experience any meaningful depreciation. For reference check out the prices of BMW 1 Series Ms. Still $50-$60k after six years (at or slightly above MSRP).

Picking up a fully loaded 6th generation Mustang GT for $25k will be doable in a year or two.

I’ve finally figured out what the new front reminds me of: Sylvester Stallone, especially after being punched in the face. Sure, it looks a bit gnarly, but also like it’s about to go ballistic and kick some ass without stopping.

Honestly prefer the front end of the current car.

Have the GT350s been experiencing more issues than normal with the drivetrain? If they prove to be fairly reliable, I might have to have one as well...

The R may keep its value, but the GT350 will depreciate. Less than 1000 1Ms came to North America.

“Of the 6,169 total GT350/R Mustangs made, Ford built just 526 GT350R vehicles, an indication of just how rare and coveted the R spec has been and will continue to be well into the future.

That means that Ford built 5,643 GT350s with the vast majority of them — 3,814 to be exact — being equipped with the technology package while 1,652 of them have the track package.

The most popular color and equipment group combination by far was the 2016 GT350 tech package in Oxford White (969 built) while the rarest of the bunch is the base 2016 GT350R in Triple Yellow with only two produced for the entire model year.”

The Track Packs will definitely be sought after and depreciate less than ones without. Similar to Comp Package for something like the E9x M3.

This is exactly all I see. I love the current style though. I’m trying to see one in person before I pass judgment but as of now, I do not like the front.

Yeah the nose looks like someone hacked away at it.

Edit: also looking more closely, it seems like Ford has been paying attention to their consumer base, because that front splitter looks as if it was designed to cut more efficiently though the shins of cars and coffee bystanders.

Waiting to afford a GT350 is the right choice.

Disagree. BMW 1 Series M was much more limited, the GT350 is still in production (and unchanged for 2018). GT350 value might also be hurt by the fact that the 2018 GT can get the magride from it making it less distinguished.

It’ll probably be similar to the S197 Boss 302. Already available under $30k.

Yeah, in one of the promo videos with Dwayne Johnson there’s renders of what appears to be a Bullitt in the background

It isn’t a good wing. Looks like a scaled down STI wing

Funny, I actually feel like a wing is what the S550 was missing. I love that one.

Right now you can find 2017 base PP GT’s at a touch over 30K. If a 2018 GT PP with active exhaust gets near that and I can save up enough I might just be able to get one. But it has to have those options because I’m picky.

Or I will just pick up one of those 17's. Or a Boss. I don’t know anymore.

agree - the wing makes it look busy. Should have gone with a lower key original 80's 5.0 GT style spoiler. But love the new, lower nose.
