Behold the latest A4. When you see one, how do identify it? Is it a big A3? Or is the A3 a little A4? Or deep down, is this really just an A4 Allroad sedan with no sport skirt?
Thank you.

It’s a less powerful, 4-door R8 V10 with fewer cylinders.

Once upon a time, sliced bread was hot shit. The celebrity among daily staples. Then it became an entitlement and it all started looking the same.

A4 is an A4. A3 is a nice hatchback that has been poorly adapted into a sedan for the US market.

One is a fancy Golf while the other is a fancy Passat?

The A3 and A4 are fundamentally different cars because the A3 has a transverse engine layout while the A4 has the traditional Audi whackadoo longitudinal/transaxle layout shared with the late-60s Oldsmobile Toronado, and assorted mid/late-90s Acura models.

No, Jetta sized. The Passat is an A6 sized equivalent.

I know most people hate it, but I like the uniformity of Audis. Granted that I’m only interested in the S/RS cars. It’s a good looking suit, even though they’re all wearing the same one in slightly different sizes.

Don’t care what anybody says, those new A4s are damn good-looking! Definitely the all-around class leader at the moment. Haters gonna hate.

I can tell because of the iPad stuck to the dash. They were smart with the A3, it hides in the dash.
