Alpinas are nice, however they’re simply just tweaked standard BMWs. M cars are vastly more focused....same people aren’t buying them, I don’t think. I’ll take the M6.

A guy who was running to replace my alderperson on the Madison city council rang my doorbell. At first I thought it was a UPS guy since that’s pretty much the only unexpected doorbell rings we get, so I asked, somewhat confused, “Can I help you?”
Then he told me who he was and what he was running for, talked about how he’s all about law enforcement and economic development, he’s a retired IT manager, he’s the president of the HOA in the fancy subdivision up the road, he’s originally from Texas, etc.
I voted for the other lady.

My school’s campaign is a complete hot mess right now with people lying straight through their teeth to get every single last vote. This girl who gives campus tours and tells people not to live in my dorm because there’s too many International Students is now saying she’s going to do more about International relations. And this guy who is practically a Trump equivalent said that he’ll do more to advocate for transgender rights. Like I literally almost fainted when I heard it. This election season has been absolutely disgusting.

Alpinas are M cars that are driven at the pace of a big Benz. Mostly by older moneyed people in Orange County (from my experience).
