I remember first reading about Big Red in a 1990 R&T top-speed shootout. There was a twin-turbo Ferrari, a Cobra, and some other custom current modified supercars.
I giggled at the fact that R&T let some trailer park dinosaur Camaro participate. I thought maybe it was a comparison between “today’s tech” and what was once considered fast back in the 60s.
Camarosaurus kicked their ass.
