Kinja'd!!!

Didn’t use any cleaners, because I don’t have any. But it’s amazing what water, a cotton cloth, and elbow grease can do. She sparkles now. I also noticed that the car has a lot of rock pecks and visual imperfections (other than the obvious one to the passenger side of the grill).

You didn’t use ANY carwash soap at all? That’s only going to add to the imperfections. The main purpose of soap is not to loosen dirt, but to provide lubricity so you don’t damage the paint when you rub a sponge/cloth/(preferably microfiber mitt) across it.

Do you know if your car has been in a front end accident? The difference in paint between the doors/rear fenders and the front fenders/hood is somewhat noticeable in that pic.

It hasn’t been in an accident according to the car fax, I’m also the only second owner. According to the first owner it hasn’t been in an accident. I think that it’s mainly a lighting illusion, as it normally doesn’t look like that. The spot of  damage to the front clip was caused the previous owner pulling to far into the garage and hitting something.
