Also there’s no need to make something like this up, because Porsche did make what’s essentially a 181 with Porsche flavor. The 597.

Coming late to the party, but... “essentially a 181 with Porsche flavor. The 597” is a little off the mark. I suggest you read a bit more about the latter.

In fact it is the other way round: both conceptually and in engineering terms the 181 is very close to Porsche’s Typ 82, otherwise known as Kübelwagen.
