I had this shift knob laying around, the one that made the shifts wonky, and I decided that I wasn’t going to waste it. Then I remembered I am from Alabama, and my instincts got the best of me...
It works! It doesn’t feel broken anymore.

They fit fine, they are just light. That, combined with the FiST’s 1 mile long shift, it makes it feel bad.

My battery on the 4Runner is held in place by about 10 zip ties because the PO cut the battery cable short and cut the tray.
Also, the transmission speed sensor is held in by tape.
One spark plug wire is held on to the distributor by a zip tie because it kept popping off.
I’m not afraid of just making shit work half-assed.
