Kinja'd!!!

Edit: while I was in the gym, the white truck had its drivers side window smashed. Why are people like this? Really hoping the perpetrator was caught on camera and gets caught by the police. Or better yet, by the very unhappy driver.

No wasted parking spots!

I considered a custom plate with something like that, but “2jdm4u” won out5

I would be concerned about those drivers careless enough not to park within their spots (it can be done!) simply not noticing a small and low car and just driving over it as they pull out.

Agreed! But the back row here has super small spots, the white truck is on the line on BOTH sides haha

And yet for some reason all the trucks always choose this row to park together....

If it’s the back row, maybe they’re parking further away to avoid taking up a ton of space in the closer spots?

Oh... Good point, it is the back! Guess they’re all considerate haha

Kirkland, Totem Lake area. It’s half a mile away from the new police station/courthouse, in a busy parking lot right off a main road

You act surprised!

Have you ever seen giant bro trucks randomly scattered throughout a parking lot?? They ALWAYS gravitate towards each other. It must be bro nature or something.

But I will say, I’m betting you park next to other Miatas too if within reason? I sometimes do the same with my Mini. At work one day, I witnessed FIVE Honda Accords parked side by side - that was an amusing sight to behold. Ah! Finally found the picture so there you have it! Notice the Altima trying to blend in and the Civic that wants to be like his siblings XD

That’s always been an odd area. Lots of riffraff, not quite Kirkland, not quite Redmond. Apartments, car dealerships, shops, fast food.

No doubt it almost never carries passengers, so no door ding risk. No doubt he “lifts” too.

Only natural! I once crashed an S2k meet in the Miata... Trying to blend!

Very true. I’ve always loved it for that very reason. Although it’s certainly been going upscale the last few years... I think the gym being right by the motel 6 is the issue, that place has cops coming and going just about 24/7

It’s all good, the passenger doors clear my roof! Well.... Almost.

Actually he seemed like a nice dude. He had a really nice Tacoma set up for adventuring prior, but had to “upgrade” because the wife thought it wasn’t safe/convenient enough for 2 kids

Makes me glad I’m single :)

Reminds me of a friend with 2 kids, when the second came along, they just had to get an Armada.

Just don’t try to prove that your “S2k” can also rev to 9k ;P

A pretty extreme reaction to two additional small humans. I would have gone with, “Well, after little Agatha came along, we just had to buy a ‘93 Corolla wagon.”

Wifeys like to feel safe, hubby doesn’t want an argument.

The Armada was a pig and didn’t age well, now they have a Flex to replace it. Also a pickup, a 10 year old Lexus SuperCamry, and I think they still have a Versa. Still just 2 kids.
