Yes. I have an inherent distrust of just letting a company TAKE money out of my account.

I still write a check for my utilities bill, but the drop box is literally 5 blocks away so I don’t have to mail it.

The only bill I’ve paid by mail was the car payment on my M3. I use my credit card and I get cash back, why wouldn’t I use it?

No, stamps are expensive! Seriously though, I’ve had too many get lost. I prefer to pay online.

Still use checks for utilities since it’s the only payment method they don’t charge a fee on. I mail out my payment for hemmings magazine too. The rest is online.

I don’t even have cheques.

I pay everything online. Actually I pay almost everything with my credit cards then I pay them off monthly.

Just the sewage bill, they don’t make it easy to pay online so I write a check.

I’ve used a check once... To be fair, any bills that go to companies with storefronts I’ll pay in person so I can verify everything is working correctly. T-mobile, gym, etc.

I pay online because I can keep my money in my savings account as long as possible. Pretty much I can pay within 24 hours of the due date and still not be past due.

Interest rates are crap but still better than nothing.

My bank does the icky manual labor of sending any physical checks I need to send people, except at critical moments when I must stoop to doing it myself. At my current rate of check consumption, I should get through the checkbook my bank sent me in 2005 around the time I’m purchasing my tombstone. That might be wishful thinking, though. I’ve only written 4 in that time - 3 for rent deposits and 1 for a car. My wife writes about 1.5 a month - 1 to the house keeper, then random ones to various people (and that average includes all the wedding expenses that were paid by check), but bills are still paid through automatic bill pay. In spite of being much younger than me, she operates like someone much older.

I personally don’t but my mom still does. I told her to switch to online to save on stamps but she’s old school and just likes doing it the way she’s been doing it for years.

I’m old, but I’ve gradually moved most of my things to automatic draft. I still feel silly when the office receptionist sees me putting actual mail in the outgoing pile, but I’m not letting credit card payments be automatic things, I want to track that carefully in case of fraud.

And VW requires my social security number to set up auto payments. They can forget it, there is absolutely no need for that to do a payment draft. Really frustrating, so I write a check every month, which has also become frustrating.

The last time I paid by mail was probably in 2002 or so. Never wrote a check in my life. Even my grandfather (1925) started paying online about a decade ago.

I held on longer than most, but got sick of buying stamps a few years ago. I don’t do automatic draft, but I pay it all online through my bank’s website.

We pay one or two by mail. Those are usually the ones that get forgotten and then they are double the next month.

Make room for another millenial answer here: nope!*

Honestly, it’s somewhat baffling to me that anybody would still pay bills by mail - I can’t even imagine how not too long ago, everybody was mailing out checks every month hoping they all get to their destination safely and timely.

*Two exceptions actually - the only bills I’ve mailed are the ones which cost extra to pay online (wtf right?): a MA speeding ticket** and my town’s vehicle tax (which you could bring to Town Hall but was very frowned upon)

**actually, I’m not even sure it cost extra to pay this online - they just suck and don’t post your citation in their system for several weeks, despite the fact that payment is due (postmarked) in 20 days. So unless you get real lucky, you have to pay by mail.

I just last year finished off a book of forever stamps that I bought something like 10 years ago. That should tell you how much snail mail I send in total.

I’m about 50/50. I pay my mortgage and power bill by mail as well as my REI Master card. Everything else is online, car, internet, and Visa through the bank.

i still make my car insurance payments IN PERSON, and i got rid of my bank card, and only do business across the counter from live people at those two places. both those places had managed to make a mess in the past, and trying to work with them over the phone was just infuriating. after i started dealing with them in person things just went right........
