Kinja'd!!!

Should be good to go for another 50k :P. Oh yeah, also a new short block. The loaner was nice, but I’m happy to have my own car back and a manual transmission again.

How much that cost? Just curios, I have one that needs the repair.

It was all under warranty and I don’t have a price breakdown, sorry :(. If it’s an 11-14 Subaru did extend the warranty to cover this defect with the 2.5 so you may want to check that.

Having you own car back is always nice. When my Sonic was in getting new coolant line replace I had a loaded Verano for a few days. It was leaps & bounds above my Sonic, but it was nice having it back even tho it was a striped out base model.

Actually we have had no come backs and no head issues after the new short block. The only issue I have seen was another dealer did the job and botched the front cover so it was leaking a little oil.

Thanks. My service adviser said the same thing - nobody has had any issues after the replacement.
