Bastard fired right up! Kind of. I was chasing a no-spark issue for a day or two, turned out the terminals on the plug to the coil were corroded. Cleaned em up and bam!

For those that haven’t been following along, this is in my 1991 Vert that I’m doing up Safari style. 2.3 to 5.0 conversion. Sounds easy, but there are a LOT of things different between the I4 and V8 cars. Honestly, I’m not sure it was any easier than the 2J/68 swap. But, it runs!

This is pretty dope. I am currently in the process of putting Grabbers on an ‘88 Town Car, so afterward we will have basically the same car except I will have 1200+ lb on you and a roof.

Not a horrible idea. Might need to massage it a bit to fit over the cage :)
Oh, maybe not. I’m going to put big off road light across the cage and the spare tire is going to live back there too, mounted to the rear deck.

Sounds great! I don’t know if you’ve already talked about the engine, but what kinds of mods do you have on there? Looks like an Edelbrock intake up top.

Nothing too special. Edelbrock intake, GT40 heads, E303 camshaft. Stock ecu, injectors etc. Not looking to make crazy hp with this thing. In fact, I don’t plan on popping the hood very often, not much to see under there :)

Nice! Big power’s great and all, but I’m a big fan of low-risk mild builds. Sometimes just a little extra oomph is puh-lenty.
