Saw this Kia roll into my local gas station while I was filling up. Not pictured: the sick flames on the side. (I already felt like a creeper taking this photo, didn’t want to push my luck.) I am 100% on board with this car.
Any idea what model it is Oppo? Whats going on with that extension cord? Why did the driver look so grumpy?

Miss Mercedes nailed it (I was thinking Subaru Justy at first).
Based off of the “On/Off” license plate, the extension cord hanging from the hitch, and the “Take This OPEC” sticker on the glass, I’m wondering if it’s been converted to electric. This would also bring about the question “if it’s electric, why’s it parked at a pump?”, so I may be really wrong.

Maybe a DIY hybrid? Drive the rear wheels on electric, the fronts on the stock powertrain, and just put it in neutral to run in all-electric mode?

I also thought about the electric option and came to the same conclusion. That said, parking at QT is no easy thing, so maybe he was just being a jerk? Then again I’d swear to you I saw him start to pump...

Looks like an electric-converted Ford Fiesta to me. (I don’t think they were ever sold as Mazdas or Kias in North America?)
At the pump...maybe there is a small generator installed on it?
