They did it from the center “Straight Only” lane.
Check the sign above the intersection. I was behind them in the center lane when they began to signal as they stopped for the red. I got next to them in the other straight lane, and looked over at the driver but he(?) was too interested in his GPS to notice me shaking my head.
When the light for the oncoming traffic went green (as well as their green left turn arrow) he started creeping and I was like “.....no, he isn’t gonna” and yup.
He fuckin’ did.

My wife saw someone do this. Except he had on his right turn signal as if to say, “nothing to see here, just a guy turning right...” just before he turned left.
No wonder insurance rates are so high in my state.

Ive recently added a universal 4th option to the drivers that will do the stuff like Takuro put in that animation.
The 4 universal answers to drivers doing ignorant stuff on the road: 1. high (drugs), 2. drunk, 3. falling asleep at the wheel, 4. don’t have car insurance so they’ve already decided that they don’t give a **** what happens.
Where I live its usually no.4 & 2.
