That car has been for sale for quite some time. Over a year at this point, I believe.
The price has dropped a fair bit over time (I think it used to be around $8k), but I’m guessing there’s got to be something else that’s causing people not to buy.

Yeah, it’s about a mile from my house, and I’ve seen it off on and on for at least 6 months with a sign in the window. A post the other day (from the twingo tamer) of a similar car prompted me to finally take some pictures of it. Down to $6,850 now, and it does seem odd to me that it’s been for sale that long- although the seller is clearly driving it.

Well, it’s been for sale for quite some time, but probably not that long. :) It’s not something that excites me personally all that much - especially when you start to think about parts availability here in the States. If I’m going to get a car that parts aren’t available for, it’ll be early 60's Detroit iron.

This car has been for sale for a LONG time. Probably about a year and a half. I thought about it last April (04/12, I just found the text from the number in your photo), and I was concerned because the ad was expiring and there was snow in the pictures. I wonder if there just isn’t much of a market, or what? I remember seeing it at maybe $8k, and now it sure looks like that window tag says $6950...

$6,850, actually. I took a closer shot of the tag, but didn’t post it - the phone number is on there, although you might be able to zoom in and read it anyways. Someone else posted that it was $8k some time ago. It’s pretty odd that no one has bitten on it - but the owner *does* drive it, because sometimes I see it, sometimes I don’t. I presume they work at the martial arts studio I always see it at.
