A stock 2016 V6 Camaro SS will walk this car in handling, 0-60, safety and about everything else.
The 1950's and 1960's were not the golden age of horsepower and performance. IMHO, folks are “trapped in their own sunshine” if they think it was.
We’re living in it right now.

I had to google them, but if you’re going to drive a Desoto, I’d certainly take the ‘60 over the ‘61. Plus, Adventurer is a cool car name. They didn’t even bother with model names on the ‘61s, IIRC.
